Since graduating from the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London, Kevin Wyn-Jones has worked with both opera and dramatic theatre, with more than 70 designs to his credit. Amongst other productions, Kevin Wyn-Jones has designed lighting for Carmen, Tosca, Jenůfa, The Demon, Der fliegende Holländer, Die Walküre, Il barbiere di Siviglia at the Latvian National Opera, Riga; La traviata, Le nozze di Figaro, Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Lucia di Lammermoor at the Folkoperan in Stockholm; Der Rosenkavalier at the Hungarian State Opera; Faust and Lohengrin at the Slovak National Opera in Bratislava; Manon Lescaut at the Estonian National Opera, Tallinn; The Elephant Man at the Norrland's Opera in Umeå, Sweden, and Lohengrin at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Vilnius. He has worked with directors such as Andrejs Zagars, Dmitry Bertman, Kasper Holten and Staffan Valdemar Holm, with his work taking him to places such as New York, Sicily, Belgrade, Porto, and Moscow. In Latia, Kevin Wyn-Jones has been nominated as the best lighting designer of the year for his work on The Demon.
