About the tour
The Estates Theatre is one of Europe’s most beautiful theatre buildings. It is inextricably linked with the works of musical geniuses such as W. A. Mozart, Carl Maria von Weber, Gustav Mahler, and Nicolo Paganini. Of course, famous Czechs have also made their mark on the theatre’s history - writer Karel Čapek, playwright Milan Kundera or director Miloš Forman. Come to hear about these artists as well as learn more fascinating facts from both past and present from our expert guides.
The tour of the Estates Theatre starts in the entrance hall, continues through the auditorium, Mozart’s Lounge and ends in the main dressing room.
It is forbidden to use the lift during weekend tours, therefore, please consider whether you are physically able to walk up the stairs. Moreover, the use of toilets shall be limited to the minimum necessary.
This tour is in Czech language.
