Exclusively for the National Theatre a renowned costume designer Sylva Ziula Hanáková created 32 unique playing cards with costume designs from the opera Schwanda the Bagpiper. For this production, Sylva, one of the top Czech costume designers in theatre, film and television, created fabulously playful costumes, which she transferred to the original playing cards. Each of the cards is a small work of art
