Dance On
DANCE ON is a new educational project that will take place at the New Stage, encompassing open classes, individual coaching and a choreography laboratory, within which the participants witness the gestation of new works.
Dramaturgic introductions prior to performances
Let the National Theatre dramaturges and tutors familiarise you with the performances you attend.
Half an hour before the beginning of the shows, they will tell you about the production’s creators and their work, its scenery, dramaturgic and staging conceptions. It is good to know more! The dramaturgic introductions are included in the ticket price, you do not need to make a reservation in advance. They are held in Czech.
We will inform you of the nearest dates.
Autograph sessions
Meet Czech National Ballet dancers clad in the costumes they wear on stage. During the intermission, they will gladly sign your programme booklets or anything else, and have their photo taken with you.
We will inform you of the nearest dates.
National Theatre CAFÉ
Did you know that you can meet our artists and creators at Café NONA in the New Stage building? Amid an informal atmosphere, you will learn details about their work at theatre, as well as about the professional staff whom audiences do not see on stage – rehearsal pianists, coaches, prompters, producers, conductors, assistant directors, and many others. The chats are open to everyone, free of charge, there is no need to register your attendance. We will also welcome your suggestions and wishes as to who you would like to meet.
