The opera Werther, which Jules Massenet composed based on the famous novel by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, is one of the most successful works of French operatic literature. Starting on 13 March, the National Theatre will once again be mounting a production directed by the legendary Willy Decker and under the baton of Sébastien Rouland.
