Haruka Iguchi Becomes Demi-Soloist of the Czech National Ballet

We are pleased to announce that Haruka Iguchi, a talented member of the Czech National Ballet, has been promoted to demi-soloist. Since joining the company, this exceptional ballerina has established herself as one of the most remarkable personalities, and her portrayal of various roles demonstrates her versatility and artistic growth.

Haruka Iguchi has captivated audiences in a number of unforgettable roles, including:

  • Olga in Onegin (choreography by John Cranko), where she portrayed one of Tatiana’s sisters with emotional depth and grace.

  • Juliet in Romeo and Juliet (choreography by John Cranko), bringing both fragility and strength to one of the most iconic roles in the ballet repertoire.

  • Swanilda in Coppélia (choreography by Ronald Hynd), where her energetic and playful interpretation charmed both audiences and critics alike.

  • Duet in Sarcasmen (choreography by Hans van Manen), where she demonstrated her technical skill and excellent partnership in this demanding duet.

  • Jiskerka in Slunečník, Měsíčník, Větrník (choreography by Viktor Konvalinka), showcasing her beauty and subtlety, which are key to this role.

  • Ruby, Topaz, and Fairy of Beauty in Sleeping Beauty (choreography by Marcia Haydée and Marius Petipa), where she portrayed several enchanting roles that contributed to the magical visual impression of the production.

This promotion to demi-soloist is a well-deserved recognition of her contribution to the Czech National Ballet.
