Masterclass with Timofej Kuljabin alias Moon as WhatsApp!

The Moon in the opera Rusalka serves as WhatsApp, Despina (Cosi fan tutte) as a tired psychologist in a marriage counselling centre or Blaženka from The Secret (Tajemství) as a fortune teller. And the purpose is? To disrupt the students of the classical singing from the traditional view of acting. That was the spirit of Saturday´s masterclass with director Timofey Kulyabin, whose production Der ferne Klang (The Distant Sound) is currently on the repertoire of the State Opera.

A great afternoon, which revealed a number of acting principles to young students and allowed them to try them out on the stage. On behalf of Musica non grata project, we are delighted that so many talented students turned up and spent the sunny afternoon with us.
