Alexandr Volný

Biography

Born on February 10th, 1983 in Brno, the Czech Republic. He graduated at the Brno State Conservatory to later become a member of the Laterna Magika ensemble in 2002. He danced at Laterna Magika until 2012, performing both solo roles and collective choreographies.
From 2009 – 2011, he cooperated with the Prague Chamber Ballet. In 2011, he got an offer to work with Cirk La Putyka (productions La Putyka, Up end Down and other) where he has since then been developing his new circus techniques skills (acrofloor, straps, etc.). Concurrently, he joined the team of 420PEOPLE: his first appearance with the company was with Wind-up in 2012.
