George Oliveira
Biography
Born in Santos, Brazil, on December 9th 1982.
1994-1999: George Oliveira began studied dance at Lucia Millas Ballet School and English National Ballet School.
In 2000, he entered the English National Ballet and Aterballetto. In 2004, he joined Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo (Soloist in 2007) where he has danced major roles in Jean-Christophe Maillot's productions such as: Demetrius in Le Songe, Cat fish in OEil pour OEil, Méphisto in Faust, a Golden Slave in Scheherazade, Mercutio and Tybalt in Roméo et Juliette, a Superintendent of the Pleasure in Cinderella, Carabosse in La Belle, an Archangel in LAC, a Guardian Angel in Casse-Noisette Compagnie, Gremio in La Mégère apprivoisée.
He also worked with choreographers: Second Detail (William Forsythe), In Memoriam and Mea Culpa (Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui), Artifact (William Forsythe), Boléro (Maurice Béjart), Quatre Tempéraments (George Balanchine), Whiteout and Le Spectre de la Rose (Marco Goecke), Walking Mad (Johan Inger), In the Upper Room (Twyla Tharp), The Choosen One in Le Sacre du Printemps (Maurice Béjart), Les Noces (Jiri Kylian), Writing Ground (Alonzo King), Le Corps de Ballet (Emio Greco/Pieter C. Scholten), In-Exact and Petrouchka (Johan Inger), The death and the Maiden (Petr Zuska), Body-remix (Marie Chouinard), Casi Casa (Mats Ek).

Recently he has staged Jean-Christophe’s productions: Romeo and Juliet for Dortmund Ballett, Cendrillon for Pacific Northwest Ballet (Seattle), Opus 40 for The Pôle National Supérieur de Danse Rosella Hightower, Back on Track for The Académie Princesse Grace.
