Ilona Quenot is a French dancer celebrated for her elegance, technical precision, and emotive stage presence. Born in Paris, France, she began her formal training at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional in Toulouse before advancing to the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet School, where she studied under renowned instructors including Mrs. Arbo, Cerutti, Gaida, Redont, and Wiart from 2015 to 2021. In 2020, she graduated with honors in Dance History, Music, and Anatomy, achieving Excellence in Music. Her academic achievements include a bachelor’s degree in 2020 and ongoing university studies in Languages, Literature, and Civilization, specializing in English and Spanish.
Currently performing with the Paris Opera Ballet, Ilona has brought life to iconic productions such as Swan Lake (Rudolf Noureev), Giselle (Jean Coralli, Jules Perrot), and The Nutcracker (Rudolf Noureev). Highlights of her repertoire include the Pas de Deux in Sleeping Beauty and performances in The Dante Project by Wayne McGregor and The Rite of Spring by Vaslav Nijinsky. Her earlier experience at the Paris Opera Ballet School included notable works like Les Forains (Loïe Fuller, Roland Petit), Coppélia (Arthur Saint-Léon), and Napoli, Pas de 6 (August Bournonville).
Ilona has enriched her artistry through extensive training at international intensives and masterclasses. She has participated in the International Ballet Masterclasses in Prague, working with luminaries such as Daria Klimentova, Vadim Muntagirov, and Ksenia Ovsyanick, as well as the Royal Ballet School Summer Intensive in London. Her development has been furthered through collaborations with acclaimed coaches like Grigory Chicherin and Vincent Chaillet, which deepened her versatility in both classical and contemporary styles.
In addition to her dance career, Ilona has pursued acting classes with Master Compagnie and musical studies, showcasing her multidisciplinary talents. Her commitment to artistic growth and adaptability make her a compelling performer on the global stage, with aspirations to contribute her craft to international ballet companies.
