Jan Lukášek

Jan Lukášek studied civil and electrical engineering. At the present time, he heads a projection department at a leading Czech company designing and planning specialised mechanical and electrical technological units, as well as providing auditing and consultancy services to the state, private and banking sectors. He has worked with the stage director Jiří Heřman on the sets for the productions of the operas Rusalka (South Bohemia Theatre, the revolving auditorium in Český Krumlov) and Madama Butterfly (National Theatre in Prague), and the installation Music and Space (Prague Quadrennial). Moreover, he has closely collaborated with the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, the Czech Hydrometeorology Institute, the West Bohemia University in Plzeň, and the Czech Technical University, carrying out scientific projects, working on research grants, as the supervisor of graduation theses, etc. He has founded and co-owned companies dealing with graphic design, 3D computer graphics and audio advertising. He has also worked as a 3D graphic designer for international companies (primarily processing 3D models for TV commercials), a Czech company developing computer games, created 3D visualisations of architectural designs for several Czech architecture studios, and designed structures for exhibiting companies in the Czech Republic and abroad alike.
