Jelena Nosková graduated from the Odessa Music Academy, specializing in the fields of concert pianist and operatic vocal coach, in the same class as renowned opera singer Maria Gulegina. Following graduation, she spent a year training with Valentina Kameníková, world renown Czech pianist and recording artist. For the past 25 years, she has been the leading coach for the Czech National Theater. Through the years, she has honed her skills in the Bel Canto and Romantic Russian operatic repertoire as well as the operatic works of Mozart, Rossini, and Verdi. She played the harpsichord in over 300 performances of Don Giovanni at the Estates Theater, where Mozart conducted the premiere of this masterpiece. She is the 2001 winner of the European Franz Kafka Award for Active Art Participation. She has collaborated with world-renowned conductors, directors and singers such as Enrico Dovico, Richard Hein, Roberto Paternostro, Jan Latham-Koenig, David Kout, Peter Dvorský, Eva Randová, Anda-Louise Bogza, Dalibor Jenis and Demitry Chvorostovsky. She is a professor at the Prague State Conservatory and the Prague Academy of Music. She is particularly skilled at preparing singers to take roles from the piano directly to the stage.
