Klára Lidová
Biography
A dancer, a choreographer and an actress Klára Lidová started to dance at the age of four at the National Theatre ballet studio where she gained the basis of classical dance. She first appeared on the stage of the National Theatre at the age of five. She gained further education at HAMU in Prague (2003-2004). She studied abroad (classical ballet - Libby Farr, Janet Panetta, Zvi Gotheiner, Jean Christ. Paré, Yannick Boquin; modern dance - Joe Alegado, Risa Steinberg, Claude Brumachon, Andrew Harwood, Marie Kinski, dance yoga - Sri Luise). She is not only a dancer but also an actress. She’s appeared in several films and on TV (Cirkus Humberto – the role of Růženka, Přísahám a slibuji – the role of Charlotta, Herbstmilch – the main child role of Anna, Když se slunci nedaří – the role of Barbora, Golet v údolí - the role of Branka, Romeo a Julie – the role of small Julie, Ten lokaj, Třináctery hodiny – the small princess, Zvon Lukáš - Anička). As an actress she occasionally appears at Prague theatres (Divadlo Bez zábradlí, Dejvické divadlo, Divadlo Komedie, Divadlo Na zábradlí), she dances at independent dance projects and since 1998 she has been creating choreographies for theatre plays, films (Tajnosti – choreography and interpretation – directed by Alice Nellis; Karamazovi - choreography and interpretation – directed by Petr Zelenka) and TV. She dances herself in some of them.
