Demisoloist of The Czech National BalletBiography
A Paris native, Louise Corpechot trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur. After graduating in 2011, she joined the Czech National Ballet, where four years later she was named demi-soloist.
She has garnered plaudits for portrayals of a variety of roles in productions of classical works (Nikiya in La Bayadère; the Polish Princess and Pas de trois in Swan Lake; the Fairy of Beauty in The Sleeping Beauty; a Gypsy Woman in Romeo and Juliet, a Spanish Dancer in The Nutcracker – A Christmas Carol), neoclassical (The Snow Queen, Onegin) and contemporary pieces: Leonce & Lena (Christian Spuck), Prelude und Liebestod (Cayetano Soto), The Second Detail (William Forsythe), Petite Mort, Gods and Dogs, Bella Figura and Sechz Tänze (Jiří Kylián), Artza (Eyal Dadon) and Bill (Sharon Eyal).
