Matěj Srovnal
Biography
He is originally from Opava and has been practicing parkour since the age of eight, when he started learning tricks entirely on his own, as there were no specialized courses or training available at the time. Through perseverance and passion, he worked his way to the top of the world stage, becoming a three-time Czech parkour champion and achieving numerous other successes, including winning the World Urban Games 2019 in the speed run category. He has been a member of the Czech national parkour team for four years and participated in the first official world championship in Japan.
He has more than seven years of experience performing in parkour exhibitions, where he has represented teams like Zabil.cz and In Motion Academy. He has also performed at Divadlo na Fidlovačce in Prague and is active in the BoCirk circus in Ostrava, where he performs on the Teeterboard and continues to develop his acrobatic skills, which he has been pursuing for over 14 years. Besides parkour, he is also involved in cliff diving, which allows him to combine different disciplines and bring innovative approaches to training and teaching.
He currently works as a parkour coach at In Motion Academy in Prague and Kladno. He constantly strives to develop his abilities and inspire others to achieve their goals in parkour and acrobatics.
