Ukrainian tenor Oleg Lanovyj will make his debut at the National Theatre Opera in the 2024/25 season as Goro (Madama Butterfly). He graduated from the Lviv National Academy of Music named after Mykola Lysenko. He performs intensively in concerts at the Culture and Congress Center in Lucerne, the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the Konzerthaus in Berlin and the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, ti name but a few. In 2013, he debuted at the Solomiya Krushelnytska Lviv State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet in the role of Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), and since then, he has created here roles as Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Ernesto (Don Pasquale), Ottavio (Don Giovanni) or Spoletta (Tosca). In 2023, he debuted as Alfredo (La traviata) at the Lublin Theatre in Poland.
