Óscar Armendariz
Biography
Óscar Armendariz launched his career 35 years ago, designing the costumes for the Mocedades vocal group. He has designed and made costumes for operas, dramas, ballets, as well as installations for museums, including the Guggenheim. He has been director of the costume department at the Teatro Arriaga, Bilbao, for 25 years. Óscar Armendariz has worked with stage directors of such renown as Barbora Horáková Joly, Luis Iturri, Luis Pascual, Emilio Sagi and Calixto Bieito.
