Otto Šanda
Biography
The significant dancer and choreographer Otto Šanda (1932–2016) has been working at the National Theater since the mid-1950s, and since 1966 he has been a ballet soloist for almost a quarter of a century. From the 1970s, he also worked at the National Theater as an assistant director and choreographer in operas; from 1992 to 1999 he worked as a choreographer and head of the State Opera Prague Ballet. He has participated in dozens of opera productions at the National Theater, the State Opera Prague and Czechoslovak Television.
