Petr Oslzlý
Biography
A dramaturge, scriptwriter, actor, theatre director and teacher, Petr Oslzlý launched his career in 1972 as a dramaturge at the Husa na provázku Theatre in Brno, where from 1976 to 1980 he also served as artistic director and wrote more than two dozen scripts. In the 1980s, he organised a house university seminar and pursued other anti-regime activities. Between 1990 and 1992, he was an adviser to President Václav Havel. He teaches at the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts, and is the director of the Centre of Experimental Theatre in Brno. As an actor, he has portrayed more than 50 roles, mainly at the Husa na provázku Theatre. He has written a number of publications about theatre and fine art.
