About
The core of the New Stage is its own theatre hall, designed like an amphitheater with an angular layout. The interior design was created by Martin Sladký. The hall, spanning the third to fifth floors, is accessible via a monumental circular staircase made of green serpentine, rising from the entrance hall through the individual floors. The main foyer, featuring a large painting titled Czech Landscape by František Jiroudek, is located on the fourth floor, from which you enter the hall itself.
The New Stage represents a modern concept of a theatre building, functioning as an art space open to the public throughout the day. While from the outside, the New Stage may appear compact, inside it surprises with its generous interior design.
The tours are suitable for students and those interested in architecture and more detailed historical context.
We look forward to seeing you on the tour.
