Drama rehearsal room at Anenský areál. Participants meet by the staff reception of the facility, 10 minutes before the start of the workshop.
Thematic workshops for school groups, which accompany selected productions in the Drama ensemble’s repertoire and offer deeper insight into their context.
Come bring Erben’s ballads to life in our workshop!
What could Lady Midday (Polednice) look like? How to create the wild river from Little Dove (Holoubek) on stage? How many crosses should there be in the graveyard from The Wedding Shirts (Svatební košile)? How to bring to life on stage two opposing worlds – the underworld realm of the Water Goblin (Vodník) and the cottage of the mother and daughter? Explore and these questions and implement their solutions in the workshop on A Bouquet (Kytice).
You will work with a set designer to build your own scenography, i.e. set design, models for selected texts from the Bouquet collection. You will try creating a mysterious atmosphere by using your voice and a microphone. The workshop takes place in the rehearsal space of National Theatre Drama in Anenský areál.
The art and literary workshop KYTICE is designed for organized school groups. You do not have to have seen the National Theatre’s production of KYTICE to attend.
