Terms and Conditions of National Theatre Subscriptions
- With his/her appearance, attire and behaviour in the auditorium and adjacent premises of the theatre the visitor respects the conventions expected when attending a theatre performance.
- Within a subscription only an entire group, not individual performances, can be purchased.
- The number of subscription seats is limited.
- The titles and dates are binding and cannot be changed.
- After the subscription has been paid, requests for change will not be met, a subscription cannot be returned or replaced.
- The subscription card may only be used for performances listed for the group specified in its heading.
- The subscription card is transferable.
- We reserve the right to change the programme.
- Subscribers are informed of possible changes in the programme by email or a letter and information text message.
- Information on changes in the subscription programme is also made public on the National Theatre website in the subscription groups table, in the National Theatre magazine, in the Bulletin for National Theatre Subscribers and on information service notice boards during the first intermission of subscription performances in theatre venue foyers.
- If a change is made on the part of the National Theatre, a substitute performance is automatically offered; if the theatre-goer does not accept the substitute performance, it is possible to change the substitute performance within a season for a performance of a same genre and price.
- In your own interest, inform the subscription department of changes in contact data forthwith. Failing which, we cannot guarantee that a notice of change in the programme or other important information pertaining to the subscription will be delivered.
- In the case of any unclarity, contact the subscription department.
- The National Theatre reserves the right not to allow, permanently or temporarily, the reservation of tickets for selected productions or performances, and to offer such tickets only in the direct sale mode. The National Theatre also reserves the right to cancel reservations, should it consider them speculative, purposeless or repeated, thus preventing other potential spectators from purchasing or reserving tickets. In the event of passing on or donating a ticket to someone else, the purchaser of the e-ticket is obliged to alert the recipient that should a performance be cancelled, the National Theatre shall solely return the money directly to the person who has bought the ticket.
- The dress code is usually only required for special events, and for such cases it is specified on the tickets. With your behaviour and attire, however, you always indicate that you are aware of the festive occasion you are experiencing at the theatre.
- Arriving in time pays off. You will find your seat, have enough time to switch off your mobile phone, tablet or other electronic device. Late arrivals can only be shown to their seats by the auditorium staff, while directly entering the auditorium after a performance has started is not possible.
- All of us present share a mutual experience. Noise from the auditorium not only distracts the artists on stage but also the theatre-goers in the auditorium.
- Think about what your children are able to sit through. Not every performance is suitable for children.
- Please leave your belongings and outer-wear at the theatre cloak-room.
- Taking photographs and making recordings not only disturbs those present at the theatre, it also infringes copyrights. Therefore, it is forbidden.
- Theatre is a cultural institution. Please abide by general rules of decent conduct.
